Face it! Diet is definately an issue for people who suffer from acne. When I suffered from cystic acne as a teen I never looked at my diet as the possible culprit.

GET AWAY FROM FAST FOOD

Processed sugar does major damage to our bodies in more ways than one. Kill the processed food in your diet for a while and see what that does for you.

There were no potato chips or processed foods in the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve ate food that grew from the ground that was filled with nutrients. Our nutrient depleted diets have delivered terrible consequences to us like acne, obesity and even sickness.

Years ago, the asian community did not even suffer from acne nearly as much as today because of the high concentration of fresh veg and fish they consumed.



Since the fast food king McDonald's is all over the planet now, the problem of acne has grown to astronomical proportions. No I am not saying that acne is McDonald’s fault, but nutrition was more important to the world before the concept of fast food became a major world dominator.

CLEAN YOUR COLON

One really great place to start dealing with your face and nutrition is by cleaning your colon. Don't go to cheap herbal stores though, because the herbs that they sell do not have a guaranteed potency seal. (no not viagra or that other stuff the will come up under general searches for this term).

What does the seal mean? Well, it means that the herb is exactly what they say it is. It means that it has been tested by an accredited outside laboratory that has access to come into their facility at any time to test that the herb is 100% of what is says it is instead of 2% of what it says and 98 % filler. A lot of herb companies peddle the stuff that only contains 2% of the actual herb. Since vitamins and herbs are not regulated by the food and drug administrations of the world, many companies sell what they want to sell to us and call it blah blah blah. No questions asked!

Ever tried to add certain vitamins and herbs to your diet and noticed they did absolutely nothing for you? It would take boat loads of blah blah blah's vitamins and herbs before they ever could begin to work for you.

DRINK MORE WATER

Since your body is made up of 70% water guess what? Yeah, you are going to have to drink more water. If you weigh about 150 pounds (11 stone), then 64 (8 glasses) ounces is your daily water intake. For every 25 pounds or 2 stones you are over 150 pounds, you need to add another 8 ounces of water. So if you weigh about 200 pounds (13 stone) you need to drink 80 ounces of water (10 glasses). Get what I mean?

STEPS YOU CAN TAKE

So in essence:
1. Kill the sugar in your diet
2. Kill the processed foods
3. Limit the fast foods
4. Clean your colon
5. Drink the adequate amount of water that your body needs daily
6. Clean your face with "quality" skin care products (Consistency is the key here)
